Hi, I’m Danielle Roxborough, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Love is a Verb Counseling. I work with couples and individuals through a trauma-informed, relational lens because I believe relationships are where we experience both our deepest wounds and our greatest healing. My work integrates the Gottman Method, attachment-based therapy, EFT and DBT skills, and I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals and partnerships. I’m also a certified Fair Play Method facilitator, helping couples build more balanced, collaborative partnerships at home.
I specialize in using body-based approaches clients move through Trauma, Loss and Grief. My training is in holistic Somatic Psychotherapy. I offer Brainspotting and Ketamine-assisted and psychedelic integration work. I support clients to heal from loss and trauma, improve your relationship with yourself and your relationships with others. If you are tired of talking about the same issues week after week without real change, let's work together toward deeper processing and accelerated healing.

I believe people carry far more strength, clarity, and resilience than they often realize. My role is to help you understand the emotional patterns and internal narratives that shape your experience, so you can move through life with greater freedom and self‐trust. I’m engaged, attuned, and honest in the room — offering reflection, insight, and steady collaboration as we explore what’s happening beneath the surface. We work at a pace that feels grounded for you, creating space for real change to germinate.

I’m committed to meeting your needs and learning.
I'm a licensed psychologist with a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. Seeking help can feel like a big step, but it's also a powerful one. I offer a collaborative and nonjudgemental space for discovering strengths and with helping you feel empowered.
I believe therapy works best when it feels human, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe being honest, imperfect, and fully themselves without fear of judgment. I value clear communication, emotional attunement, and meeting clients where they are rather than rushing the process. My goal is to support you in building insight, confidence, and tools that feel realistic and sustainable for your life.
